The Specialized Information Publisher’s Association’s (SIPA) annual conference for publishing professionals is open for registration. This year’s conference, SIPA 2014: Strategies for Growth, will be held at The Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. on June 4-6th. Attendees will have opportunities to hear from experts about specialized and niche publishing with seminars focused on trends in mobile, marketing, technology, and content that directly and indirectly affect businesses.
Each year, hundreds of publishers, executives, marketers, editors, journalists, writers, web developers, salespeople, business managers, and more attend SIPA’s conference for learning and networking. SIPA is a division of the Software Information Industry Association (SIIA). It is an international trade association whose mission is to advance the interests of publishers and media companies serving the needs of niche communities.
Attending SIPA 2014: Strategies for Growth will give you access to over dozens of breakout sessions and roundtables in addition to all of the individual sessions within five tracks:

Conference attendees can learn how to create and leverage high quality content to keep audiences coming back. For attendees interested in learning more about monetizing their content, there will be opportunities to learn how publishers are generating the most revenue and where to find new sources of revenue. From the technology side, attendees can learn how to transform into a digital-first organization and how to manage their evolving technology needs to support their businesses.
SIPA 2014: Strategies for Growth will also include an awards reception where winners of the SIPA Awards 2014 will be revealed. Follow the preceding link to submit a SIPA Award nomination. The deadline for entries is April 11th, so you still have time! There are awards in three categories: Editorial, Marketing, and Business/Social Media. Both members and nonmembers can submit award nominations.
