The ACI team is proud to announce that we’ll be showcasing the ACI Scholarly Blog Index to library and information science professionals at the 2015 Association of College & Research Libraries conference.

As the only repository of published scholarly blog content, the ACI Scholarly Blog Index offers the most comprehensive, authoritative, and credentialed collection of scholarly blogs available today. With more researchers and academics blogging than ever before,  ACI’s collection of scholarly blogs encompasses all fields of study – from biochemistry and internal medicine to history, the arts,  and – yes! – library and information science.  With a collection specifically curated for the academic market, students, faculty, and staff will find authoritative blogs whatever their academic disciplines.

The ACRL conference will be held from March 25-28, 2015 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, and ACI Information Group will be exhibiting in Booth 554. This year is an especially exciting one for ACRL, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary! Check out this page for a really fascinating overview of ACRL’s history.

The 2015 ACRL conference theme is Creating Sustainable Community, which the ACI team is really excited about. With an audience focused on finding innovative ways to meet the research and information needs of today’s academic library community, the conference will be a great venue for ideas on discovery and collaboration in research and scholarship.

We look forward to showing just how the ACI Scholarly Blog Index fits into this learning ecosystem by expanding the wheel of research and the discovery of credentialed opinion from the experts and thought leaders in those fields.

For more information or to register for the conference, visit the ACRL Conference website. The programs cover a wide range of topics and interests from techniques for information literacy to scholarly communication and ideas for collaboration. You can read more about individual conference programs and exhibitor schedules here.

Pat, Aura, and Larry are excited about the conference, showing off our collection, and the possibility of some 75th anniversary cake. Above all, though, they’d love to meet you in person… so be sure to stop by Booth 554 and say hello!
